Call for Hosts: 2026 and 2027 Annual SANORD Conferences

The South African-Nordic Research Network (SANORD) is pleased to invite its member universities to submit their letters of intent to host the 2026 Annual SANORD Conference in the North, and the 2027 Annual SANORD Conference in the Nordic Region.

This is an exciting opportunity for institutions to showcase their academic excellence, foster collaborations, and contribute to SANORD’s mission of advancing research and partnerships. By hosting the conference, institutions will be crucial in facilitating discussions on pressing global issues and showcasing innovative research across various disciplines.

Key Information for Applicants:

The 2026 Annual SANORD Conference will be hosted in a university based in the Southern Region.

The 2027 Annual SANORD Conference will be hosted in a university located within the Nordic Region.

Institutions are encouraged to submit a Letter of Intent outlining their proposed venue, facilities. Additionally, details regarding local support, logistics, and potential themes or topics for the conference will be highly valued.

The SANORD Central office will go over all submissions and talk with prospective hosts to make arrangements.
