Agreements for Student Exchange and Co-operation in Education

This page aims to provide an overview of agreements for student exchange and co-operation in education between SANORD member institutions in Nordic countries and southern African region. Here we list the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Student Exchange Agreements (SEA) between the Nordic universities and the Southern African Development Community (SADC) universities.

Student Exchange Agreements (SEAs) are only meant for Undergraduate and Graduate (Master) students. However, exceptions of admitting PhD students on SEAs are possible at some of the member institutions. These SEAs are university-wide agreements and the duration of the exchange ranges from 1 to 2 semesters.

Students are advised to check the university websites for each agreement and contact each university’s International Office for the most current information, especially information such as number of study places available per term and the deadline for submitting applications.
The updated information should be available on each university´s website.
